Her acting debut was on stage in an off-Broadway production of The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. The Perfect Tribute. A year later, her TV debut was in The Perfect Tribute. Her breakthrough in her career came about in 1992 when she acted as a support character in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm was the film that made her the main female for the first and only time.
