Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. She was the lead character of Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced several characters in the animated comedy series of Family Guy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Virgin River on Netflix since the year 2019. Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mom moved to California,[1] where they moved around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become fascinated by photography, acting as well as singing around the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
